With the generous giving of their valuable time and great ideas, many of our campers help us to organize the kind of indoor and outdoor activities that make summers memorable for many years to come.
All proceeds raised from any of our activities in the park, are returned to our recreational and activities program!

Recreation Hall
Our recreation hall provides the perfect venue for theme nights, dances with a dj or local band, euchre & dart nights, game night, coffee time, supervised teen dances, super duper garage sale & corn roasts, karaoke, "drive-in" night, pancake breakfast, chili cook-off's, kid's crafts, fun carnival and our Thanksgiving dinner & dance!
Holiday Celebrations
There is Christmas in July with a New Year's Eve dance, Halloween in August, Family Fun Day & BBQ, Beach volleyball tournaments, Horseshoe tournament and Dinner & Dance, Baseball games, Sandcastle building contests, Children's fishy derby... and whatever else you would like to do... Perhaps ride a bike or fly a kite!
Sandy Beach
We have a clean sandy beach where little ones can splash safely and play in the sand, a raft, and a water "Rock-It" for the more adventurous. Swim, float along the river on a floaty or sit in the sun with friends or in the shade. Perhap's you like to read a book... It's all your choice!
Fishing
With abundant lakes, rivers and streams the Kawartha Lakes area promises ardent anglers excellent fishing. In fact, fishing has long been a favourite sport with great catches of small and largemouth bass, muskellunge, and small pan fish ... and fishermen do indeed catch their limits!
Get a group of fishing friends together and come and enjoy an angling adventure! You can almost guarantee a catch to take home, even if it might just be a photograph of that prize fish and then release it to catch again another day!
The Scugog River is listed as one of the 10 best waters to fish in, in southern Ontario. Bass, Muskie or Perch, on a boat or from our shoreline the fishing here is just fine!
Fishing with children provides great family fun, especially with our abundance of smaller fish, known as "pan fish" which include rock bass, sunfish and yellow perch.
Take a child camping and relax by our river and "catch the fun".

Canadians can fish without a license in Ontario during this time, giving families a fun and affordable way to enjoy the province's beautiful lakes and rivers.
If you have no licence, please follow Conservation Licence limits.
